I collect vintage bar statues and decanters. Recently, I acquired a 14" high Old Crow decanter with a black crow dressed in a black tuxedo, black top hat, with a bright red vest. I read that Old Crow Bourbon was the favorite whiskey of Mark Twain, Ulysses S. Grant, and current Kentucky U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell. I could not find a bottle of Old Crow Bourbon in Colorado Springs, so I ordered a bottle from you. It arrived here promptly and intact. Earlier, I obtained a I.W. Harper Bourbon 24" bar figure of a bowing man dressed in a black tuxedo coat, gray trousers, gray top hat, saluting, while holding a long cane. I ordered a 15 year old I.W. Harper whiskey because it won five gold medals over 100 years ago in New Orleans, Chicago, St. Louis, Paris, and Cincinnati. I also have a bottle of Axe and the Oak Bourbon that two young men in Colorado Springs produced ten years ago by watching You Tube videos to construct a still from scrap parts. They won a gold medal in San Francisco for their Bourbon whiskey. With friends, I do Scotch tastings of four different whiskys in four Glencairn glasses on a whisky barrel slat. I am looking forward to doing a similar tasting of Bourbon whiskies. I have not yet tasted the 3 year old Old Crow or the 15 year old I.W.Harper Bourbon whiskies. The Axe and the Oak whiskey is a favorite of mine. Do you have a suggestion for a fourth Bourbon whiskey I might include in my initial Bourbon tasting with friends?
