FitVine was started by two friends who wanted wine that fit an active life: fermented dry so there is no added sugar, filtered clean, and made with a lower sulfite load than most conventional wine. Nothing about it is diet wine, the alcohol and the flavor are both fully there.
Straight talk on sulfites: FitVine uses fewer sulfites than the industry standard, but it is not a no sulfites added wine. If zero added sulfites is the requirement, look at our Domaine Bousquet Virgen and Gerard Bertrand Naturae bottlings instead.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Blackberry, dark cherry, a whisper of vanilla and toasted oak.
- Palate: Bold and dry with plum and cassis, firm tannin, no sweetness at all.
- Finish: Clean, dry, and surprisingly light on its feet for a Cab.
How to Enjoy
- Grilled steak, burgers, or anything off the smoker.
- Aged cheddar and dark chocolate.
- Serve at 62 to 65 degrees.
